On Friday, head coach Steve Specht from Saint Xavier will be named the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year. The Award was created in 2010. Specht will receive $10.000 and St. X's football program will be awarded $ 15.000.

Specht, who coached the Bombers for nine seasona and won Division I state titles in 2005-06, was nominated for the award by rookie  Seahawks defensive end Greg Scruggs.    Specht will be a guest of the NFL at Super Bowl 47 Sunday in New Orleans.
