(Oxford) Miami University may not be planning on accepting more students, but records show the university is gaining popularity.
As of January 30, Miami has received 21,027 applicants for the 2013 fall semester, a spike from its 20,314 applicants last year. The number of applicants is the highest in Miami history.
Miami says they expect more applications to hit their desk before the Febuary 1 deadline for Fall 2013 enrollment.
U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Miami third highest among the nation's top-ranked universities for "efficiently spending their limited resources in order to produce the highest possible educational quality."
Throughout the year, Miami University hosts special events and offers tours and information sessions for perspective students and families.
