( Cincinnati, OH ) Brandon Joiner missed his rookie season to serve a sentence for an armed robbery he committed in 2007 while attending Texas A&M. 

Joiner and another player broke into a drug dealer's apartment and robbed him at gun point. They also bound a few people with duct tape and assaulted them during the robbery.

He's been behind bars for the last year, and upon his release last month, the Bengals reinstated Joiner to the active roster from the reserve/did not report list.
