( Camp Washington ) - Cincinnati Police say a man was killed when his car was struck head-on Wednesday afternoon.
First responders were called to the Hopple Street bridge around 2pm. 39-Year-Old Latonya Colbert allegedly lost control, went left of center, and struck a car driven by 57-year-old Tony Smith going the other way.
Police say neither driver was wearing a seat belt and both had to be extricated from their cars. Colbert was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Smith ultimately died from his injuries at the hospital.
Investigators say speed does not appear to be a factor, but they believe Colbert was drunk at the time. No word yet on any possible charges.
