( Florence ) The Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati will be the title sponsor of the 42nd running of the Spiral Stakes at Turfway Park on March 23. The sponsorship will raise the race purse to $550,000, its highest payout in more than a decade.

The Spiral Stakes is one of 36 qualifying races across for the Kentucky Derby. The casino will also host a 'Call to the Post' on March 20 inside the casino itself.
