( Columbus ) The Ohio State Supreme Court won't hear an appeal filed by Ryan Widmer's attorney, claiming the bathtub that Sarah Widmer drowned in was seized illegally.
Attorney Michele Berry-Gosdey has already had two other appeals denied by the 12th District Court of Appeals, but is expected to file another appeal next week.
In it's decision, justices wrote that police had a right to seize the tub because it was an instrument of the suspected crime. Widmer is currently serving 15 years to life in prison for the murder of Sarah Widmer in 2008.
