( Ripley, OH ) - A fatal ATV crash in Ripley is currently under investigation. Dispatchers report that the crash was discovered just after 10:30 a.m. on Main Street.

Police say an all-terrain vehicle crashed into some trees late Thursday night, killing 47-year-old Gerald W. Polley. 

Neighbors report that they didn't see the accident, but heard the impact last night.
