(Mason) In preparation for its reopening in a few months, Beach Water Park plans to hire 500 workers. 

The renovations for the park totaled more than $5 million. The Beach will feature new areas and revamped attractions for its reopening May 18th. 

A job fair will be hosted by the Mason amusement park on Saturday, March 9th from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. Applicants should go to the general parking lot of The Beach located at 2590 Waterpark Dr. in Mason.

The amusement park is hiring for part time and seasonal positions including: supervisors, food service, bartending (21 and over), life guarding, EMT rescue, park landscaping/ maintenance (18 and over), admissions, seasonal marketing, sales and special events, party captains, gift shop retail, and game room attendants. 

The new management will honor all 2012 Season Passes that patrons previously purchased.
