( Hamilton ) Agents from the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Taskforce, with help from Regional SWAT Units, executed a search warrant late Thursday night around 11:30pm, at the home of a suspect currently out on bond for pending heroin-related drug charges.
Agents went to
41-year-old Willie Prater was arrested on multiple felony charges for Trafficking and for Possessing both heroin and cocaine. Prater had been out on bond from several similar drug-related charges that were filed by the same BURN Taskforce Unit after a search warrant was executed at his home back in November, 2012. Prater had his initial appearance in Hamilton Municipal Court Friday, where bond on the new charges was set at $250,000. He currently remains housed at the Butler County Jail.
“I guess some people just don’t seem to get it,” said Sheriff Jones. “Possessing and dealing in drugs is against the law. If they want to continue to peddle their poison, we are going to continue to arrest them – plain and simple.”
