(Cincinnati) Two campus groups at the University of Cincinnati plan to utilize pictures of female genitalia to speak out against an anti-abortion organization.
The University of Cincinnati's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Alliance is teaming up with UC Feminists in opposition to the Genocide Project.
The two groups began a campaign called "Re-envisioning the Female Body" after a comment that was made by Genocide Project representatives. According to UC's LGBTQ and Feminists group, the Genocide Project compared abortion and women's choice to the holocaust on their campus visit last spring.
The groups will post 12 billboard-sized photos of a woman's genitalia paired with a personal story on McMicken Commons between 11 am and 3 pm Thursday and Friday.
