( Cincinnati ) With a Winter Storm Warning in effect for most of the Tri-State until Wednesday morning, it was a rough morning commute. Most of Northern Kentucky got a mix of rain and ice, with a few inches of snow.  Areas north of the Ohio River received more snow than rain or ice and the snow totals climb, further north.

The City of Cincinnati sent out crews to pre-treat roads, with drivers on 12 hour rotating shifts.  Greg Courtland says they were not able to put down salt and brine, because of the rain, but, temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s meant the salt they did put down worked well.

He says the West side and northern neighborhoods received the most snow, and were the areas drivers would find the most difficulty getting around.
