(Ripley County)--Three teenagers were killed Thursday morning when two pickup trucks collided in Ripley County. Police say the crash happened around 10 at County Road 850 West and Fairground Road.  

Police say the teens were attending a Future Farmers of America function before leaving early. 18-year old Jacob Vogle, 18-year old Samantha Hansen and 17-year old Timothy Bowman all died at the scene.

Three students in another pickup truck were injured, 17-year old Thomas Crawford, 15-year old Caleb Cumberworth and 15-year old Kayla Adkinson. They were treated at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

South Ripley High School will be making counselors available to students and staff.
