(Cleves) Investigators in Hamilton County say alcohol or drug are not believe to be a factor in a crash involving a Hamilton County Sheriff's deputy. Officers say the deputy was responding to a call with his lights and sirens activated around midnight Sunday when his cruiser was hit at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Mt. Nebo Road in Cleves. They say 42-year-old Christy Meddings told them she didn't see the officer coming through the intersection and hit him. Meddings and the deputy were both taken to the hospital. Both have since been released.
