Several Northern Kentucky fire departments responded to a two-alarm fire Friday night in Hebron. Fire units responded to a garage fire on Riverwalk Street in the Deer Creek subdivision around 9:39 p.m.

The fire destroyed one house, and two other houses were damaged.

Firefighters said smoke detectors alerted residents to the fire. Six people were displaced, but no one was hurt.

A dog was unaccounted for in one of the houses.

The cause remains undetermined.

Hebron firefighters were assisted by units from Point Pleasant,  Boone County Emergency Management,  Burlington, Petersburg and Erlanger.  The Boone County sheriff's office also responded.

Fire units from Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport and Crescent Springs were placed on stand-by.
