( Florence ) A joint investigation between narcotics investigators from the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force, Cincinnati Police Department, Clermont County Drug Task Force and Lexington Division of Police has resulted in the execution of search warrants in Florence and Lexington and the arrests of three men for trafficking in heroin.
Narcotics investigators from Cincinnati and Clermont County identified several Northern Kentucky men involved in the sale of heroin in Ohio. Acting on this information, Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force agents executed a search warrant at a hom on Turfway Road. Agents arrested 26-year-old Luis Meza Paez and 24-year-old Manuel Alejandro Piozola-Aramburo. Agents seized several ounces of heroin and over $25,000 U.S. currency.
Using information gained from the Florence investigation, Lexington Police narcotics agents executed a search warrant and seized over $35,000 U.S. currency and arrested Ulises Alberto Murillo a.k.a. Antonio Bergumen-Torres, 32 of Lexington KY on forged document charges. Murillo faces additional charges of Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Heroin) from the Northern Kentucky investigation.
