(Cincinnati) Cincinnati police investigated a shooting incident involving an owner shooting another dog Tuesday afternoon at Mounty Airy dog park on Westwood Northern Boulevard.
Police say the owner, 74-year-old Robert Marx, used a 9 millimeter handgun to shoot Katlynn Hornsby's dog. Hornsby's dog reportedly attacked Marx's dog, causing Marx to then shoot the dog.
It has not yet been confirmed whether Hornsby's 1-year-old Pit bull named Bruski, had to be euthanized after being shot.
Police say no one else was injured. Marx had a concealed-carry permit and was allowed to have a gun.
The owner was cited for discharging a firearm within the city limits and criminal damaging. Marx is scheduled to be arraigned in a Hamilton County courtroom at 12:30 p.m.
The shooting remains under investigation.
