( Hamilton ) - A long term investigation of trafficking synthetic marijuana has yielded several findings when the City of Hamilton Police Department served 19 search warrants. These warrants were on nine residents and six businesses in Butler and Hamilton Counties on Thursday, April 4.
Officers allegedly found over 51,600 packages of synthetic marijuana valued over $1,000,000, $210,000 in U.S. currency, drug paraphernalia and four handguns. The businesses under investigation are Wireless A, Pleasant Avenue Wireless & Smoke Shop, CK Wireless, Bonkerz, the EZ Wireless Store and Sycamore Market.
As a part of the investigation, the Ohio Investigative Unit issued citations against liquor licenses, reflecting violations of drug sales, drug possession, drug paraphernalia sales, drug paraphernalia possession and recieving stolen property.
