( Hamilton ) - A 26-year-old from Middletown faces life in prison when he's sentenced next month. Joseph Goodin (above) admitted to multiple charges Monday--including murder, aggravated robbery, and aggravated burglary--in the death of 19-year-old Julian Slaven in November.
Prosecutors say Slaven was going to sell marijuana to 19-year-old Christia Frymire (above right) and 19-year-old Misty Williams (above left). They arrived at Slaven's mother's house on Judy Drive with Goodin, 26-year-old Jerry Eacholes (below left), and 21-year-old Anthony Givens (below right). Slaven was shot and killed and the suspects allegedly stole his glass jar of marijuana.
Prosecutors believe Goodin was the one who actually pulled the trigger, and the other defendants have all plead not guilty. Williams' trial is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9th. Eacholes and Frymire will be tried in May; Givens in July.
