(Cincinnati) For the third year in a row, Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is named Best Regional Airport in North America.
SkyTrax, an independent, London-based air transport research organization conducted a survey of more than 12 million passengers. The survey reached out to more than 385 airports worldwide to determine the best regional airport. The winner for the third straight year, CVG.
SkyTrax hands out numerous awards, all of which are based on unsoliciated customer-survey responses. Subscriptions or memberships are not needed for an airport to be considered.
Over a 9-month period, the surveys were filled out by passengers of more than 100 different nationalities. CVG was acknowledged Wednesday in Geneva, Switzerland as part of the 2013 World Airport Awards.
