( Cincinnati ) Councilman P.G. Sittenfeld says he is meeing with investors of the Delta Queen on Friday morning to "discuss the possibility of bringing her home to Cincinnati."
The steamboat is currently a floating hotel in Chattanooga, Tennesse, but investors are looking at Louisville, Sacramento, Manhattan Island and Cincinnati to revive the boat and bring cruises back for passengers.
The Delta Queen docked in Cincinnati from 1946 to 1985 and a "Save the Delta Queen" effort began in 2007. The steamboat is designated a National Historic Landmark.
