(Sycamore Township, OH) -- Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputies raided the Drake Motel, Monday morning, serving search warrants, on the premise that it has been a nuisance property. In the last couple of years, there have been four suspicious deaths here, and hundreds of other police responses. The owner has been arrested, accused of acting as a lookout for drug dealers.

Including the owner, there were only four people arrested. Everyone else was told simply to get out, because deputies were serving a court order to close the motel.
Greg Tye is trying to find housing for a friend who was living at the Drake Motel. He says she and her two children were kicked out with no recourse. Tye says she heard the American Red Cross would be helping, but found out that was not the case. He says then they heard deputies would help relocate those who had been living at the motel. Tye says instead, deputies only offered to drive people to homeless shelters. "We think if the prosecutor's going to do this, they would know there are going to be innocent victims... that they would have a mechanism or something in place, for those people, like this lady and her two kids, but they say that they don't," he said.
Tye says his friend had just paid the rent, and is wondering what to do.
