(Downtown Cincinnati) - Police say they're still working to piece together what happened, but three people were taken to the hospital following a "running gun battle" on the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge on Wednesday night around 11:30.
Cincinnati Police Lieutenant Colonel David Bailey says that 21-year-old Joseph Wright is in custody, charged with three counts of felonious assault. Investigators say he may have had some kind of confrontation with the victims in Kentucky, then met up with them again on the Cincinnati side of the Ohio River.
Bailey says 23-year-olds Dequinn Little and Darian Jackson were shot while riding in a vehicle crossing the bridge along with a 15-year-old who's been in critical condition at Children's Hospital ever since.
More charges/arrests are expected.
