(Jonathon M. Seidl) As you may already know, the U.S. embassy in Turkey was attacked by a suicide bomber. It left two dead, and was quickly dubbed a terrorist attack by the White House. And while the news has been focused on who is responsible, there is an interesting piece of video that’s gaining traction.
That video shows a couple of what appear to be Marines standing guard after the attack. But there’s something a little off: the soldiers don’t have their normal battle pants on — instead, they’re wearing colored shorts. That has led Business Insider to conclude the Marines, in their rush to secure the complex, had to take their posts in their boxers.
