Original story:

Several workers have been injured at the construction site of the Horseshoe Casino in downtown Cincinnati. There has been a collapse of part of the structure on the southeast side of the site at Broadway and Reading.

The accident occurred about 8 o clock Friday morning as workers were pouring concrete. One of the people on the scene tells us that support beams collapsed as the concrete was being poured sending workers plummeting 30 feet to the ground. University Hospital says 10 people were transported to their Emergency Room with non-life threatening injuries.

At this point, construction at the site has been shut down and all of the workers have been accounted for. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has dispatched investigators to the scene to try and determine what caused the collapse.

Messer Construction is in charge of the project and will hold a news conference at 11:30 to release more information.
