(Lebanon, OH) --  Rebecca Butcher, also known as Rebecca Green, has been indicted on 19 counts of stealing from Medicaid, and the food stamp program, and falsifying the records.

Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell says Butcher got away with nearly $160,000 since 2008.  He says she was approving Medicaid benefits and food stamps for people who didn't qualify, and was taking money from those who did qualify, and not putting it in the County's accounts.  He says

Butcher has been fired from Warren County Human Services.

He says he can't speculate why, after 28 years of working in the office, she did it.  Her arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday.
