(Cincinnati) ** Update 5-18-12, 7:30am ** The dedication of the Smale Riverfront Park will be held at 6:15pm on Friday, as the city celebrates the first phase of completion on the banks of the Ohio River.

There's a big celebration scheduled for the ribbon cutting for Cincinnati's newest park, but there's still construction at Smale Riverfront Park.

Project Manager Dave Prather says they're assembling the Black Brigade Memorial, and the labyrinth, and still have to grow grass for the area between Mehring Way and the Ohio River, but, is confident it will be ready for the May 18th party.
