(Over-the-Rhine) -- Police discovered two people shot in the 1600 block of Walnut Street on Wednesday afternoon. Officers went to the scene after several people called police about gunshots, around 12:30pm. 

Officers found one victim on the steps of a church.  The other victim was in an apartment, in the 1600 block of Walnut.  Both men were taken to the hospital in critical condition.  For photos, Click Here

The first victim of the shooting had died as a result of his injuries. 30-year-old Theodore Palmer has been pronounced dead at University Hospital. The second victim, who has still not be identified, sustained non life threatening injuries.

Police have charged 32-year-old Virgil Amison (pictured above, right) with murder and felonious assault. His last known address is in the 1200 block of Gilsey Avenue. He should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
