(Cincinnati) -- The First Lady wasn't going to introduce any new policies or intiatives. Instead, her task was to reinforce the President's message, and fire up the faithful, a month before the election.

Several polls are giving Barack Obama the advantage over Mitt Romney in Ohio. But his re-election campaign isn't taking any lead for granted. Mrs. Obama told supporters her husband won the state by 262,000 votes in 2008, pointing out that that breaks down to a couple of dozen in each precinct. She encouraged voters to take part in absentee/early voting, and then volunteer for the campaign.
After her speech, campaign volunteers led a procession to the Hamilton County Election Board, so voters could cast an early ballot.
