Listen to Bubba on 700WLW's America's Truckin' Network each Saturday and Sunday morning from Midnight to 5am. ATN is produced by Eric Halsey, Greg Shurts and Chip Pratt.
Bubba's been in radio for more than 30 years! He's called Tampa-St. Pete home as well as Indianapolis. But most of his time has been spent in Cincinnati, which is home to the America's Truckin' Network and its flagship station 700WLW.
In that time, he's one of those radio personalities that has done it all---news, sports, talk, promotions, public affairs and music radio.
Bubba's been there covering everything from the Super Bowl to the Olympic Games, from Presidential News Conferences at the White House to major natural disasters. He's been heard on the Cincinnati Bengals Radio Network and has won several Associated Press awards for news and sports coverage. And one of the biggest honors, Bubba been nominated four times for large market Personality-of-the-Year by the Country Music Association. Bubba joined America's Truckin' Network in April 2004.
Being one that wants to know what he's talking about, in June of that year, he received his CDL-B and drove a straight truck full-time for about 6 months. In that time, he experienced just about everything he's talked about on a regular basis on the America's Truckin' Network. He still drives part-time.
It has certainly given him an appreciation for truck drivers, something he would not have gotten otherwise. Trucking is a lot more difficult and involved than most people think. "We are the life blood of the American economy," says Bubba. Hear Bubba on 700WLW and on XM Channel 166.

(UPI) -- Novartis Consumer Health is recalling Excedrin, Bufferin, Gas-X
Prevention and NoDoz in the United States after reports of chipped and broken
pills.
Novartis also reported inconsistent bottle-packaging practices at the
company's Lincoln, Neb., facility, which could result in the bottles containing
foreign tablets, caplets or capsules, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said
Monday.
"Mixing of different products in the same bottle could result in consumers
taking the incorrect product and receiving a higher or lower strength than
intended or receiving an unintended ingredient," the FDA said in a statement.
"This could potentially result in overdose, interaction with other medications a
consumer may be taking, or an allergic reaction if the consumer is allergic to
the unintended ingredient."
The voluntary recall includes all lots of select bottle-packaging
configurations from retailers of Excedrin and NoDoz products with expiration
dates of Dec. 20, 2014, or earlier, and Bufferin and Gax-X products with
expiration dates of Dec. 20, 2013, or earlier.
