Despite the fact that he's an astronaut, Mark Kelly is probably best known as the husband of former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Kelly was constantly shown on TV lending support to his wife after the attempt on her life at a public relations event in January of 2011. Just months after that incident, Kelly commanded the final flight of Space Shuttle Endeavour. Among all those other credits, he is also now the author of a children's book.
