Here's smokin' hot Ohio native Anne Heche.  She used to be the girlfriend of Ellen DeGeneres.  She's bisexual.  I've often thought who in Hollywood plays for both teams?  Swings both ways?  Is AC/DC or is "heteroflexible?"

Come on.  You know you want to look.  So CLICK HERE

THE PARTY'S OVER

Hey Darryl.  Who's the banker in this picture?

That's no banker.  That's Adam Yauch who passed away today (May 4, 2012) from cancer.  He was 47.  Who's Adam Yauch you ask?  This guy broke all kinds of music barriers.  You may have known him by his stage name "MCA."  He was one of the founding members of the hip hop group The Beastie Boys.

The Beastie Boys.  A white, jewish hip hop group from Brooklyn.  Now that's breaking barriers.  In later life he became a Buddhist.

In the immotal words of The Beastie Boys, "Your mom threw away your best porno mag."

RIP - MCA.

SENSELESS DEATHS AND DO NOTHING OHIO GOVERNOR

On October 18, 2011, a nutcase named Terry Thompson released the 56 dangerous, exotic animals he kept on his farm in Zanesville, Ohio.  Then he killed himself.  It was payback because he was pissed off at government.

On that dark, wet and cold fall night police were called to hunt and kill the predator cats and bears in an effort to keep people safe.  When the slaughter was finished, 48 of the frightened wild creatures lay dead.  Terry Thompson killed himself and 48 innocent animals.  For that I hope the flames of hell are tormenting him for eternity.

Two leopards, two primates and a bear survived that night.  After being kept at the Columbus Zoo, the State of Ohio returned those animals to his widow Marian Thompson.  Each animal is now back on the farm in Zanesville with a woman that should not be allowed to care for exotic animals.  Why?

On October 19, 2011, Governor John Kasich vowed to take action and pass laws in Ohio regulating the ownership of exotic animals.  On Monday, April 30, 2012, after doing nothing about this the past 6 and a half months, he told the media it wasn't up to him, nor the state's Republican controlled General Assembly.  It was up to the local sheriff, prosecutor and animal control officers to keep watch on people like Thompson.  Here's the rub.  The sheriff, prosecutor and animal control officers can't do anything unless there are laws they can enforce.

A little civics lesson for Governor John.  The General Assembly creates laws.  The Governor signs it into law.  Police enforce the laws.

S.B. 310, regulating the ownership of exotic animals, passed the State Senate just last week.  It's time to get this bill through the Ohio House of Representatives and to the Governor to sign.

As of today, nothing has changed.  Ohio continues to have some of the weakest laws regulating exotic animal ownership in the country.

We can blame Terry Thompson for the killings of 48 rare, beautiful, yet dangerous animals in October 2011.  But, the next senseless slaughter or worse, death of a innocent human being will be the fault of the do nothing General Assembly and do nothing Governor John Kasich.

Sleep well in Bexley Westerville, Governor.  Sleep well.

UPDATE:  On the day the animals were returned to Marian Thompson, the Governor did sign four bills into law including S.B. 260,which designates May as Pediatric Stroke Awareness month.

Now that I'm aware of strokes in May, I still don't know if my neighbor keeps a Bengal Tiger in his basement.

UPDATE: Here's raw video of the animals leaving the Columbus Zoo and being returned to the Zanesville farm.
