As I watched the Carnival Triumph dock in Mobile, AL last night, CNN making it out to be the Apollo 13 splashing down in the Pacific, and hearing of the "horrors" the thousands on board had to endure for 5 days, I thought, "Wait a minute!  These people were on a vacation - one that went bad.  These people were dropping big dollars and running up bar tabs in the thousands."

I also thought it strange so many teens and children were on the ship.  It is February, afterall, and the school year is in session.

One CNN reporter even suggested this "Gilligan's Island" excursion was akin to Hurricane Katrina, which almost destroyed an American city and killed thousands.

Those poor people.  On a cruise ship.  They were made out to be helpless and the poorest of the poor.  Once ashore they would need to be bused to New Orleans or back to Texas.  On a BUS!  The indignity.

Here's how many got back home after the floating toilet docked.  Yep.  Those poor people.
