I'm not running this year, because of health reasons. And naturally, I'm missing out on a lot of fun/good causes.
Such as the Tunnel to Towers Run, which honors the first responders of 9/11, and builds homes for wounded veterans. This is a national effort, and locally, the run is this Sunday morning, at Spring Grove Cemetery. They have a local goal of $100,000, but have only raised $23,000 so far.

Another event I'm sidelined for is the Hudy 14K. (And I was hoping to run the 14K this year, and not just the 7K.)
You may remember there was an... issue... with the 7K last year. The sign, marking the halfway point for 7K runners to turn around, was missing.
Fortunately, the good folks at Hudy have a sense of humor about such things, and made this video mocking the absent sign:
