Bill Rinehart is Senior Correspondent for 700WLW News. Though despite his best efforts, no-one else will refer to him by that title.
He came to the Big One in August, 2004. His beat covers City Hall, Hamilton County Commissioners, breaking news, and anything else that comes along.
In his private life, he likes books, movies, television shows, and music. He is also a big fan of certain foods, and beverages. His hobbies include doing things, not doing other things, and blogging.
This blog takes an unflinching look, behind the scenes, in the newsroom. But mostly, it's just an excuse for you to not do any real work.
My parents are coming for a visit next week. And I've got a small problem. It's a good kind of problem to have.
They're only here for a few days, and there are lots of places and things I'd like them to see.
There's no Reds game, so that's out. They've been to the Art Museum in Mount Adams, and to Newport on the Levy, and Fountain Square. They've been to the top of Carew Tower, and inside Great American Ball Park.
They might like visiting the Banks and Smale Riverfront Park, and the Horseshoe Casino. There's Washington Park, and the rest of Over-the-Rhine, including the walking tours. They might like the Museum Center, or IKEA, or the Ducks on the Ohio River. There are too many new eateries to mention, and other parks galore. But, what are the essentials? What should every visitor to the Tri-State see, and do? Put your comments below, and help me out!
