Senior quarterback Alfred Ramsby ran 20 yards for a touchdown on the second possession of overtime as Colerain escapted with a 35-34 win over Elder Saturday night in a Division I regional semi final at Nippert Stadium.
Top rated Colerain will face number three Moeller next week in the regional final.
Junior running back Chris Schroer went in from a yard out on a direct snap on the opening possession in overtime for Elder, but Matt Murray's points-after failed.
Elder went this game into overtime when receiver Joe Ramstettler jumped high to haul in a 30-yard touchdown pass from QB Josh Moore with 11 seconds left in regulation on a 4th down play, tying the game at 28-28.
Elsewhere in high school football playoff action on Saturday, it was Moeller beating Lakota East 46-20, Covington downs Summit CD 58-14, NewCath blanks Holy Cross 52-0 and Evansville Mater Dei over Lawrenceburg 33-14.
