Joey Votto is not in today's lineup.  He feels fine, Dusty Baker is just giving him the day off. "we gotta long way to go, you got 7 extra games so it's not only Joe, we're giving some of the other guys (time off).  We're playing them to progress them to opening day". He went on to say that Votto will tell him if he needs a day off or more at bats, " at this point he knows how to get himself ready.  He knows when he feels ready."

Billy Hamilton's Center Field debut

Billy Hamilton will see time in center field today.  He'll  replace Shin-Soo Choo at some point during the game. "There's a lot to learn but most of the time if you're a shortstop you can play anywhere on the field" said Baker.  "He can do it (play center)  it's just a matter of practice"
