Another Bearcat to Beijing
Hurdlers finishes third at Trials

David Payne became the second former UC Bearcat to earn a spot on the U.S. Olympic team after finishing third in the 110-meter hurdles at the U.S. Olympic Trials Sunday in Eugene, Oregon.

Payne crossed the finish line at 13.25, behind David Oliver and Terrance Trammell, who will join Payne as U.S. represenatives in Bejing in August.

Payne joins former Bearcat Mary Wineberg, who made the Olympic team in the 400 meters on Friday night.
