(Boone County) Considering a new trial for a man convicted of a Florence murder.
42-year-old David Dooley has maintained his innocence in the 2012 murder of Michelle Mockbee. He was convicted of murder in 2014, but his lawyers say they have new evidence that should warrant a retrial.
There are questions being raised about the truthfulness of the lead detective on the case.
A court hearing is set for this afternoon.
