Bond Set for Man Accused of Shooting Police Officer

(Cincinnati) His bond is set at $500,000. The man accused of shooting a Cincinnati police officer is out of the hospital and has gone before a judge. 

37-year-old Damion McRae is facing attempted murder and weapons charges after investigators say he opened fire on officers responding to a domestic violence call.

McRae is a seven time convicted felon and the head of the Cincinnati police officers' union says he should have already been behind bars.

Meanwhile, the officer McRae is accused of shooting, Ken Grubbs, is now recovering at home and thanking the community for an outpouring of support.
