New Airports Proposed for Ohio

(Columbus) Debating the need for new airports in Ohio. Some Republican lawmakers have said its time to start exploring the idea of building two international airports, one in southwest Ohio, the other in the northeast corner of the state.

700WLW Aviation Expert Jay Ratliff says the idea of trying to build two airports in this region is not practical. He says we already have a facility that can easy handle not only domestic, but additional international flights.

The new airport would be built off I-71 and US 35, near Jeffersonville and Washington Court House. It would cost about $10 billion.
