Lawsuit: Restaurant Owner's Brother Took Memorabilia

(Norwood, OH)--A lawsuit pending in probate court says a family member illegally took items from a trove of memorabilia his brother had displayed at a Cincinnati-area restaurant.

The suit says the late manager of Sorrento's Pizza & Restaurant amassed an "immense" collection of celebrity memorabilia, ranging from framed hair of John F. Kennedy to a check from Marilyn Monroe for an Elvis Presley bathrobe. The Cincinnati Enquirer reports  that Willie DeLuca willed his collection to his son Enrico.

The lawsuit says that Willie DeLuca's brother, Art, unlawfully took possession of some of the items with the intent to sell them. The suit demands they be returned.

Art DeLuca's attorney, Mark Vander Laan, says he categorically denies the lawsuit's allegations, and will present his case in court.
