(Warren County) The case will go on. A Warren County Judge has denied a defense request for a third mistrial for Robert Ritchie.
Ritchie is charged with involuntary manslaughter and child endangering in connection with the death of his 4-year-old son.
The defense attorney had asked for the mistrial, saying he was given an inaccurate transcript from an earlier trial.
Richie's son died back in 2016 when his wife put the boy in scalding water. Anna Ritchie is serving 18-years-to-life in prison. Prosecutors say Robert Ritchie knew about his son's injuries, but waited 15 hours before checking on the child.
