Deadline Issued To UC From White Nationalist Leader

(Cincinnati , OH)  --  University of Cincinnati officials have five days to decide whether a white nationalist leader can speak on campus.

An attorney for Richard Spencer's supporters told the school yesterday they have until Friday to agree to allow him space for a speech.  Failure to meet the deadline would result in a federal lawsuit.

Spencer's speech requests have come under scrutiny after a rally he led in Virginia led to deadly violence.

Ohio State University also denied the prominent white-supremacist Leader space to speak on its campus.

The University issued a statement that read, “After thoroughly assessing space options and resources and after consulting with law enforcement officials, the university determined that it is not possible to accommodate this request without substantial risk to public safety".

At least six university's including Ohio State,Michigan State, Penn State and the University of Florida have now denied Spencer a request for space to speak.
