(700 WLW)- Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that on Saturday night at approximately 8:20, Deputies along with Liberty Township Fire and EMS were dispatched to the area of 4255 Hamilton Middletown Road in Liberty Twp. for a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to West Chester Hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
The Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team responded and is handling the investigation and follow up. At this time, the cause of the crash in under investigation. Further information will be available from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Office and Traffic Division upon completion of the investigation.
