Cincinnati City Council Committee Votes To Honor Hit & Skip Victims

(Cincinnati, OH) - One of the streets out front of Elder High School will soon be named in honor of long time teacher Mark Klusman.

A Cincinnati city council committee approved adding the secondary name of Mark Klusman Way to Vincent Avenue in Price Hill on Tuesday. The longtime Elder High School teacher was killed in a hit and run accident.

The Neighborhoods committee has also approved naming a crosswalk in Avondale, Khloe's Krossing,  in honor of 3-year-old Khloe Pitts who was struck and killed by a car as she and her family left visiting the Cincinnati Zoo's Festival of Lights. Renaming the crosswalk was the idea of Cincinnati police officer Ladon Laney.

The full Council will vote on the honorary street names on Wednesday.
