Seven of them call Cincinnati home. The Tristate area is well represented on the brand new Fortune 500 list. In order to crack the list this year, a company needed to post over $5 point 4 billion in revenue.
The Cincinnati based Fortune 500 companies are Kroger (17) , Procter and Gamble (42) , Macys (120), Fifth Third Bank (366), American Financial (413), Western and Southern (476) and Cintas (500).
Two other companies with Tristate ties are on the list as well. A.K. Steel headquartered in West Chester (461) and Cincinnati Financial based in Fairfield (484).
