( Pleasant Ridge ) - Cincinnati firefighters battled a three-alarm fire in the city’s Pleasant Ridge neighborhood on Thursday afternoon.
The fire is above the Molly Malone’s Pub & Restaurant and Coffee Exchange at 6111 Montgomery Road. Heavy smoke could be seen coming from the area. Cincinnati Police closed Montgomery Road from Losantiville to Grand Vista. After the fire was mostly extinguished, the intersection of Montgomery and Ridge remained closed into the evening.
No reports of any injuries. There's no word yet on the cause or the extent of the damage to the apartments and businesses in the building.
