They will play in the city but train in the suburbs.

They may play their games in the West End but the home of FC Cincinnati could end up in Milford. Several sources say the soon to be Major League Soccer club has purchased property at I-275 and Route 50 for its brand new $25 million training facility.

The land is currently home to Expressway Park, a baseball and softball complex which just announced it is shutting down by the end of the month. Summer leagues there and future tournaments are being cancelled.  While the park is not identifying the buyer, speculation is that it is FC Cincinnati.

Clermont County has been working hard to lure FCC to the community. It has already agreed to raise the hotel tax by 1% to help the soccer club develop a site for their training facility.
