( Cincinnati ) - Police say the suspect they've been looking for since June 10 following an assault on a bar manager in Over-the-Rhine is now in custody.
Lt Steve Saunders called the 700WLW Newsroom to say that 33-year-old Lucien Lanier was arrested Thursday in Bond Hill. "He assaulted the bar manager from Japp's in OtR a few weeks back," said Saunders. Lanier allegedly crashed into a car and police say he got out when he saw a bartender outside recording video. Japp's manager Jen Watts was outside with that bartender, and Lanier is accused of knocking her to the ground, causing severe head injuries. Lanier had allegedly been disorderly in a different bar earlier that night. Watts has since undergone brain surgery for her injuries.
