Cindependent Film Festival Highlights Two Local Documentaries

(Cincinnati, OH) - While there will be films from all over the country featured at the first Cindependent Film Festival, two local documentaries are included in the highlights for the festival happening at the Woodward Theater and Mini MicroCinema in Over-the-Rhine August 23-25.

Earlier this month, Allyson West and the CFF team announced official selections for the Cindependent Film Festival, which included Leelah’s Highway, a documentary about transgender teen Leelah Alcorn from Kings Mills, and Hardface, a documentary about fighter-turned-trainer Richard ‘Hardface’ Mason who works out of the Northside Boxing Gym.

Festival planners are now offering single screen passes as well as VIP and day passes.

Single screen pass are being offered for $10 per screen block which will allow film-goers to experience up to 12 short films and a live Q & A with filmmakers. Each screening will last about two hours.

Screenings are grouped in a variety of categories, including “Friendship Flicks”, “Growing Pain Shorts” and“Moving Pictures”.
